The Mayfair opened its door Feb 1, 1927 to the glamour of the roaring twenties. The newly renovated Mayfair still reflects the grandeur of the era. The brass fixtures, glass etchings, frilled pillars, and skylight adorns the lobby atrium. Mayfair Hotel continues today making it downtown LA's first small luxury hotel.
